E-mail Print

This is a useful site for the bizSAFE information that you need (click here ... then select “Roadmap” or “How to apply”).  Approved bizSAFE service providers are found here!

The bizSAFE programme promotes workplace safety and health (WSH) through the recognition of your capability safety efforts. In this programme, there are five different levels to achieve. To start, your enterprise's top management must show commitment to WSH.

The efforts must be continued till the achievement of a top WSH management system.

Level 1

To start the bizSAFE journey, your enterprise's top management has to sign up for a bizSAFE workshop for CEO/Top Management conducted by the approved bizSAFE Service Providers (BSPs) . Upon completion of the workshop, the course participant will be awarded with a certificate of attendance for bizSAFE Level 1. Thereafter, your company may submit an online application at our website for your company to be recognized as a bizSAFE Level 1enterprise..

Going on to Level 2 and 3

For Level 2, your enterprise must nominate a Risk Management (RM) Champion to attend a bizSAFE course on Risk Management conducted by the approved BSPs. At the end of the course, the RM Champion must chart out the RM Implementation Plan and he will receive a course certificate. Your enterprise may then submit an online application at our website to progress to bizSAFE Level 2.

In order to attain bizSAFE Level 3 status, your enterprise must engage an approved independent auditor to assess the implementation of RM in your enterprise. Subject to the auditor's report that your enterprise has met the requirements of the WSH (RM) Regulations, the Enterprise may then be recognised as bizSAFE Level 3 enterprise.

The journey continues

For Level 4, your enterprise must select a Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) Programme Lead to attend the bizSAFE course on WSHMS conducted by approved BSPs. With the acquired knowledge, the WSHMS Programme Lead must be able to develop a WSH Implementation Plan for your enterprise. After completing the WSHMS Plan and the WSHMS course, the Programme Lead will receive a course certificate. Your enterprise may then submit an online application at our website for progression to bizSAFE Level 4. To achieve bizSAFE STAR, your enterprise must engage an independent third party certification company to certify that your WSHMS meets SS506 or any similar international standards. With the SS506 (or equivalent) audit report, your enterprise may submit an online application at our website to progress to bizSAFE Level Star.
